Hey all. First post here. I just got the oil analyzed from my 2022 CX-50. This was the factory service, changed at 15,588 miles. Ran it for 8,077 miles. The results show mild fuel dilution but wear metals are trending down. It looks to me like the engine is settling in well. Sharing in case anyone else is tracking early wear patterns.

A friend of mine sent a few sample for analysis to Blackstone labs and the guys there said that mild fuel dilution isn't a massive problem especially for those that do a lot of city driving in start stop traffic, so things are looking good it seems. What are your future plans? How often do you plan on sending a sample for analysis?

Good to know the engine's breaking in properly. A lot of people are curious about the early miles on these. What oil are you running in it now?
you know, mild fuel dilution is common with direct injection engines. If you do a lot of short trips, try to get a longer highway run in occasionally to burn off some of that fuel
