Indicator stalk feels stuck

New member here. I've got a 2019 CX-5 Sport. I've really had no troubles with it except for something a bit annoying I noticed recently. So when I click my indicator stalk up or down, it feels a bit unrefined.. It's almost like it's getting stuck or cracking into place with a bit of a harsh sound and feel. The wiper stalk, on the other hand, feels super smooth and has that satisfying click I'd expect. It wasn't like this before so I'm a bit clueless what changed. Has anyone else noticed this with their CX-5? I'm just concerned it will eventually get stuck.. Any insights or advice? Thanks in advance.

I don't have direct experience with the CX-5, but I'm pretty sure that's not something you should experience. To be fair, the indicator stalk gets used a lto more than the wiper one, so it could be normal wear and tear.

Welcome!! What youre describing with the indicator stalk isn't uncommon, over time, the internal detents or plastic components can get a bit stiff or wear unevenly, which makes the click feel harsh or "sticky." Sometimes its just a bit of dirt, dust or even minor wear, and other times the lubricant inside dries out. A gentle cleaning and applying a small amount of electronics safe or plastic safe lubricant should help.
